Gyan Mudra - A Mudra of Knowledge.
Yoga is the age-old Indian philosophy that combines exercise, breathing, mudra, asana, relaxation, and meditation. Yoga is derived from Yuj ( Sanskrit word meaning Union ) which is a union of individual consciousness with universal consciousness. It emphasizes the relationship between body, mind, and harmony. Mudras have been used for thousands of years in yogic practice to restore and maintain health. Rishis (Sages) originally used mudras for rituals, relaxation, and deep meditation.
Gyan mudra is practiced for ages by the yogis. It is a very powerful mudra that brings peace, calmness, and spiritual progress.
